[Verse 1]
In the hush of midnight’s breath,
She came with stars upon her dress,
A whisper soft, a silver flame,
To break the curse, to change my name.
But shadows moved behind her grace,
A dagger drawn, no time, no place.
The wand fell cold, her light went black,
And I was left to face the past.
[Chorus]
The last spark died in her eyes,
Before she spoke the final lie.
She tried to warn me of the crown,
Of love that kills and drags you down.
Now ashes fall where magic stood—
A godmother lost to evil’s hood.
[Verse 2]
She said, “Don’t trust the prince’s charm,
His kiss is poison, wrapped in harm.”
But steel was swifter than her plea,
And silence screamed inside of me.
The stepmother smiled, her hands still red,
“No fairy tale for you,” she said.
And in that moment, I could see—
The ball was never meant for me.
[Chorus]
The last spark died in her eyes,
Before she spoke the final lie.
She tried to warn me of the crown,
Of love that kills and drags you down.
Now ashes fall where magic stood—
A godmother lost to evil’s hood.
[Bridge]
I held her close, her breath was gone,
But in her hand, the truth lived on.
A note, a name, a fate to flee—
The prince would be the death of me.
[Outro]
So I won’t dance, I won’t believe,
In fairy tales that make us bleed.
The last spark burned, but left a mark—
A fire born from one last spark.
